New connections
We are exploring options to connect with the already consented new Lea Bridge Station entrance, to create new safe and direct routes across the sites and into neighbouring areas.
We expect to generate a significant amount of Community Infrastructure Levy revenue, which would help contribute, among other things, to transport infrastructure in the local area including upgrading cycle paths in the immediate vicinity.
New public spaces
We want to create a new ‘Station Plaza’ on Site 1 and across Sites 2 & 3 we will be creating public realm available for all of the community. On Site 2 we will provide around 750 square metres of green space, with publicly accessible play spaces for children. There will be a net increase in trees across the sites compared to what exists on the three sites today.
Landscape design
Our landscape design approach is inspired by the local landscape and take inspiration from materials and planting in the Lea Valley. Hence, our designs will complement the character of the area.
Our ideas for landscaping of connections and public space across the three sites are as follows:

Survey
We want to continue to work closely with the Lea Bridge community to develop our landscaping strategy further. We also want to hear about any landscaping themes that you would like to see incorporated into the design masterplan.
The survey should take three minutes of your time and is available here.
