Keltbray will be carrying out trial holes excavations at three locations along a watermain in the Lea Bridge area.
Why?
A watermain will need to be diverted to enable future construction of the Lea Bridge Station sites development. These trial holes will help us determine the exact location, depth, size, and material of the main, which will help us to plan the necessary diversion.
When?
The works are scheduled to start on Wenesday 31 May and are anticipated to last for one week, weather permitting. We will be working between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Where?
The locations of the trial holes are indicated in pink on the image below.
During the works, we will make every effort to minimise disruption to the area. However, pedestrian footway diversions will be in place around the works areas for the safety of pedestrians and our workers. No road or cycle route closures are anticipated.
We understand that any works in your local area may cause inconvenience, and we will make every effort to ensure that the works are carried out safely and efficiently. We have appointed a dedicated site supervisor to oversee the works and liaise with local stakeholders, and we will be following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
