Since we were last in touch, new rules have been introduced requiring new buildings over 30 metres to have second staircases. Therefore, as some of the buildings in our consented scheme are above this height, Waltham Forest Council and London Square have been in discussion to make adjustments to the design to meet these new requirements.

Waltham Forest Council and London Square, along with many other developers and housing providers across London, have been in discussion to make adjustments to the design to meet these new requirements.

Therefore, the project team have decided to make changes to the planning permission, known as Non-material amendments (NMA) and Section 73 amendments (S73).
